I grew up in the Ozark Mountains, spending most of my childhood on the trails and along the Buffalo River.

That love of the outdoors never really left me; it just grew alongside everything else.

I studied Digital Filmmaking and Broadcast Journalism in Central Arkansas, and outside of class I was usually kayaking the Arkansas River, hitting the local mountain bike trails, or rock climbing. Eventually that hobby turned into something bigger: I joined a women's mountain bike clinic and ended up racing with Central Arkansas Velo (C.A.R.V.E.). While I was racing, I also started doing creative work for the team, designing race kits, event signage, shirt designs, and a promo video for our sponsors. It was the first time my two worlds, biking and design, actually overlapped.

After a couple years of racing, I went back to school for an Associate's degree in Graphic Design and worked part time at Office Depot's Copy & Print to build out my skills. That led to a job at a sign production facility, then a print production facility helping businesses with promotional products.

Eventually I missed the Ozarks too much to stay away. I moved back to Fayetteville and worked for a local screen printing company before landing a job with the City of Fayetteville AR, producing video content for the city government. For years I had a good balance: outdoor adventures on the weekends, video production during the week.

But eventually the Ozarks stopped being enough. I wanted bigger mountains and bigger challenges, so I packed up and moved to Colorado Springs to start my freelance career.

These days I bring that same mindset, the one built from racing bikes and chasing mountains, into every project

I take on. I treat each project like a big outdoor adventure. There's planning, there's grit, and there's real payoff at the end.
